TurboTax 2009 Software for Your Income Taxes
I have just started getting organized to do my taxes this past weekend. First I went back and gathered all the paperwork from my 2008 taxes and put this folder in a separate filing cabinet. I didn’t want to take the chance in getting anything confused. I then have started a separate folder to put all of my 2009 paperwork in.
Now the really nice thing is that I have all of my electronic files all on my Apple iMac. I just set up a new folder each year and all of my electronic files and spreadsheets are there. This makes it real easy to go back and review anything I would need.
I use TurboTax each year. I get the TurboTax Home and Business version. After using this version for the last few years I have never actually had to go down and sit with a tax consultant or a filing service. TurboTax really takes the work out of it for me and I know each year they have all the latest tax laws and information included. It even audits you at the end to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
Actually if you are a Bank of America site user you can get 35% off the Federal version only. If you need the state also the offer above will be cheaper. It also seems like TurboTax has shifted some of their profit margins from the Federal and moved it to the State returns.
I really have fallen in love with the TurboTax software and think it is the best out there.
